This was a few weeks back but as Papa said earlier, there’s quite a bit of a back log in postings. Sounds like our Courts systems, innit? haha.
Anyway, Mama went to the office to get some quiet study time, and so it was Papa and the kiddies, with Bibik in tow, who went to this little shindig. We left Alisha to do some sand art, while Haris, Emily and Papa went to queue for the Haunted House. Haris was very excited and couldn’t wait to go in; and when it was our turn he disappeared at record speed. That leaves Papa with the sniffling Emily to grope their way in the dark to bump into the horrors of the night, which included ghosts, goblins and a lost Sith Lord, resplendant with light saber and all… haha.
Next we went to look at the Climbing Wall. However the queue was long and the ground muddy after the rain… yucks! They really got to do something about the drainage in the field. Last year they had to pour sand just to make the field usable. Papa’s not averse to mud, but his sneakers are

So we decided to try the Flying Fox, as the futsal teams took to the field. Haris was kitted up and of he went over the wall. The picture doesn’t show it, but he was holding for dear life during the 15 sec drop. But soon he was running up with a big grin on his face. That was when Emily decided she wanted a go as well. Papa wanted a go but was too shy. Plus he was scared the structure would collapse under his weight haha.
Later, we tried some of the carnival games like putting, land a ball in a bowl, knock-down cans with ball, etc. We won some tickets but no where near the 15 minimum to exchange for a prize. So we donated our tockets to Nurul, who terrorized the kids with the snow spray. It’s fun seeing them scream and run. Thank you to Nurul for also giving Alisha the bouncing balloon. Before we left, Emily tried her hands at Batik painting. Then we went to the canteen to grab some food. All in all we spent some 2 hours there. It was bad luck that we had just left when they announced the Lucky Prize winner of the PS3 as being Emily.
Well, Papa never had that much luck with Lucky Draws.
